The headboard showcases a high, scrolled crest, while both boards are veneered in a chevron pattern, framed by elegant moulded edges. The bed stands on carved cabriole legs with further floral motifs, adding to its classic French style.
 
The bed frame is in good condition for its age, with some signs of wear, including minor surface scratches and a small loss to the headboard carved detail (see pictures). It comes with wooden slats, ensuring it is ready for use. The frame is solid and stable, providing a sturdy base for a double mattress.
