This late 19th-century French double wardrobe is crafted from solid walnut and features an outswept cornice adorned with solid gilt metal decorations. The piece is highlighted by two large bevelled glass mirrored doors and is supported by tall, tapering square legs. Inside, it offers a removable long rail for hanging clothes, making it both stylish and functional.
 
The wardrobe is in great condition with minor marks consistent with its age and use. There are very minor signs of antique woodworm, which have been inactive for some time. Additionally, the door has a slight bow in the middle, making it easier to open like a handle. The top and base can be removed, and the middle section can be disassembled into panels, facilitating easy transport into most homes.
