The oak construction provides a warm, rich finish.
 
The piece is in fair condition with signs of age and use. There are surface marks, scratches, and areas of wear to the wood, as well as a split due to shrinking to the top, as shown in the photographs. There is also minor signs of antique worm mostly filled over the years. The structure remains solid, and the carved details retain their character.
